What do we believe?
We believe in "Serving God by Serving God's People."

Serving God by Serving God's People - that is our mission statement, but what does that really mean? A few years ago following Covid - we as many other churches saw our attendance drop, we lost our pastor, and truthfully things looked bleak for us, but as a group we were not ready to give up. We organized, threw lots of ideas around, and by the Grace of God, we were able to obtain our current interim Pastor, Rev Jack Palzer. With his help, which included the thought that we as a church must be known in the community, we got to work.

Pastor Jack has been with us one year, and signed on to be with us another, and Wow, how things have changed. While we always followed the Word in our services, with the help of the Pastor we are learning the history behind the Bible and how it still relates to our lives.

We believe that a church is not just the Pastor, but is all of us ----- and a successful church takes work! We are getting out there and letting people know we are around. We do not discriminate, but welcome all to our church. While we are a small Appalachian Community Church, we are willing to try new things and be there for all. We LOVE to see the younger persons of our church involved and they are!

We strive to listen to both God and our members and are willing to change if that change will lead to a better fulfillment of our mission.
